Hardcover. One of 40 deluxe copies numbered I-XL; this is III. The book signed by Williams. This was followed by a soft bound edition of 200. Excerpt from a then as-yet unpublished novel, which would eventually be published in 1999 as CLIFFORD'S BLUES. Some Blacks were in the Nazi prison at Dachau, as Williams discovered on a visit there in 1966. Further research led him to write a story about them. Illustrated by Gaylord Schanilec.
