Little Women was originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869. The first illustrated edition in 1880. This edition has over 200 illustration by Frank T. Merrill and a picture of the home of the Little Women by Edmund H. Garrett. Binding is tight and secure. Decorative green cloth with frayed edges to spine and half dollar sized fading on spine between title and author. xvi, 586 pages. With four page catalog of Louisa M. Alcott titles.
